The obverse of this bar portrays a famous scene from the Bible, beautifully captured by Heidi Watsweet. Jesus travels to Jerusalem for Passover and finds the temple filled with money changers and dove vendors. "And making a whip of cords, he drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and oxen. And he poured out the coins of the money-changers and overturned their tables. And he told those who sold the pigeons, "Take these things away; do not make my Father's house a house of trade." Jn 2:13-16
The reverse features three overlapping circle, each with hands in them depicting different manual labours. Two hands in the top circle are clasped in a handshake, typifying friendship. The bottom right circle portrays a hand and a wrench epitomizing skills. The last circle features a hand with a sapling to portray tangible wealth. Interestingly, the artist didn't choose coins or paper bills but rather real tangible things to portray wealth. The words "Silver Shield Friends Skills Wealth" are engraved above and the words "10 Troy Ounce 999 Pure Silver" are engraved below.
These bars are made of 999 pure silver and feature a simple but powerful design by Heidi Wastweet.
In multiples of 10 these bars are shipped in their original mint tube.
